Anna-Maria's Christening

Anna-Maria, second daughter to HRH Princess Alexia and Mr Carlos Morales Quintana, was christened on Saturday 19th July, at 6.00pm, at the Monastery Pantanassa, located between Porto Heli and Kranidi, Peloponnesus in Greece.

The Godparents were,

HRH Crown Prince Pavlos, brother of Princess Alexia
Senor Don Alejandro Morales Quintana, brother of Mr Morales Quintana
Senora Dona Beatrice Van Hauen, Danish friend of Princess Alexia
Ms Lucie Jonas, English friend of Princess Alexia, who was unfortunately absent
Senor Don Jaime Manchato Toledo, Spanish friend of Mr Morales Quintana
Mr Marcos Nomikos, Greek friend of Princess Alexia
Senor Don Lluis Ribas Estalella, Spanish friend of Mr Morales Quintana

The ritual took place amongst a tight circle of close family and friends. It was the biggest gathering of the Royal family in Greece in the past 30 years, since HM Queen Sofia and HRH Princess Irene were also present on the occasion.

After the ceremony, Their Majesties King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie, hosted an informal dinner at the house in which the Family resided for the summer, in Kranidi.
