The Yacht Club of Greece organized the first “Spetsai Classic Yacht Racing Week”, which took place between 30th September - 2nd of October 2011. The regatta was held under the auspices of the Municipality of Spetsai.

 

His Majesty King Constantine took part, with the “AFROESSA” ranking fourth amongst the traditional caiques. His Majesty’s crew consisted of Mr. Zaimi, Mr. Eschitzoglou and Mr. Bona amongst others, while Queen Anne-Marie took over the final winning leg of the race.
