Public opinion, as well as Greek and foreign Press, have shown a great interest in the condition of the Tatoi Estate. Since it was confiscated in 1994, the lack of care for the buildings, the chattels and more importantly, the natural surroundings, have spurred severe criticism.
We hereby cite two of the many articles in the Greek Press, after members of the Ministry of Culture first visited the site in September 2005 and others regarding the development plans for the Tatoi Estate, as presented by the Ministry for the Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works.
